I am headed out to a Bachelorette party this afternoon & will be gone for most of the weekend.  Which means my husband is on baby-duty.  In addition to his Honey Do List I’ve also put together some local activities that he might enjoy taking the baby to this weekend.  These are not kid-oriented events, rather they’re “man-events” which you could drag a child to.  So send this list to you hubby and score yourself some free time!

Booze, live music by a French-Gypsy-funk band, and some art.  Oh, and it’s free tonight.

SATURDAY
UniCycle Race
Unicycles!?  Enough said.

Mission Creek Music & Arts Festival
Free, daylong outdoor concert at McLaren Park.  Free admission.

MC Rai, Sila & MJ Greenmtn
Free concert at Amoeba Music in the Haight.  Proceeds will benefit the children of Iraq.  There’s your good deed for the day.

SUNDAY
San Francisco Presidio Concours d’Elegance
The Presidio’s main post will hold hundreds of collectors’ cars on display, including the debut of a ’67 Ferrari 330 GTS. There’s also a cigar and scotch lounge, and tents for wine tasting.  Since this is within walking distance for us it’s pretty much a no-brainer.

Peruvian Food Festival
Apparently the best Peruvian cuisine in Northern California with over 40 different dishes & over 15 restaurants participating. Enjoy traditional music, dances, beer, pisco, culture and food.
