Tree Frog Treks is leading a “Nature in the City” hike in GGP. Kids & adults will meet some animals, enjoy some snacks, and then head out in search of tiny critters. Rain or shine. Age 4 and up.

The Flying Angels Chinese Dance Company will perform at the Portola Branch of the SF Public Library. Past audiences have said that “each dancer moved with perfection and precision with each & every step”.

Let the kids roam free & hear the Golden Gate Park Band. The band members will be wearing uber-stylish uniforms (of course) and playing some patriotic tunes in honor of Memorial Day.

Interested in escaping the city today & possibly seeing the sun? Head north for the Caledonia Street Spring Faire. This is an adorable festival with art, music, dance, food and even a special Children area. Rain or shine.

Monday, May 31st
Want a slice of Small Town, USA to go with your apple pie? Join veterans in the Presidio for the traditional Memorial Day Commemoration. Program includes a Korean War commemoration, a flyover, the Cable Car Chorus, taps, and a 21-gun salute by the U.S. Armys 5th Brigade 75th Division.
